Role Description We are looking for a motivated Network Engineer to join Dropbox’s Corporate IT team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with senior and mid-level engineers to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, office environments, wireless networks, and cloud platforms. This position offers hands-on experience with network automation, performance tuning, cloud networking, and security. You’ll contribute to key initiatives while helping to advance the team’s capabilities in automation, observability, and cloud infrastructure consolidation. Responsibilities Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize networks using tools like Datadog, Kentik, and synthetic testingSupport network deployments, upgrades, and retrofits across data centers and officesAssist with daily network operations, stand-ups, and vendor coordinationContribute to Aruba Cloud wireless migrations and ongoing wireless infrastructure managementSupport networking efforts across AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI, including VPC design and routing/security optimizationAssist with Zscaler implementations, including disaster recovery and business continuity projectsDevelop and maintain network automation scripts using Ansible and PythonAutomate network provisioning with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCDMaintain and improve tooling like NetBox, Oxidized, ACL management, and IPAM systemsDocument network architecture, procedures, and runbooksSupport network segmentation, traffic inspection, and secrets managementContribute to performance tuning to improve network reliability and end-user experience On-call work may be necessary occasionally to help address bugs, outages, or other operational issues, with the goal of maintaining a stable and high-quality experience for our customers.
