We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team based in Debrecen or Cluj Napoca, part of the Enterprise IT business unit, supporting the integration of National Instruments, now Test and Measurement Group. This role requires a highly experienced and versatile network professional with a proven ability to design, document and implement complex solutions in an enterprise environment. They will work in a global environment as part of a team delivering both new network services and incremental releases of an existing network service to meet the changing needs of the business whilst considering market trends/best practices within the IT landscape. As an expert they will also be engaged in providing customer concern support when required. The candidate should have the expert ability to develop functional and technical requirements, demonstrate advanced creative problem solving and the ability to effectively document and communicate solutions. Initially the focus will be on existing National Instrument network services and the overall integration of these into Emerson whilst maintaining current service levels. If this sounds like an appealing job for you, we welcome your application! **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Design, test, configure, implement, and support for specific network services to include, but not limited to, WAN, LAN, Wireless, Firewalling and Remote Access + As required work closely with Network Service Owners to evaluate specific engineering requirements and design, test, document an optimal solution that can be operated in a globally consistent manner + Engage vendor sales and technical contacts as required for knowledge and development of new/existing solutions + Continuously evaluate the network marketplace and new vendor offerings such that these can be discussed and considered by the network team as we develop future strategy roadmaps + Working with Service Delivery & Operations to train and handover the service such that it can be delivered and supported consistently + Participates in and applies the same Process for subsequent service releases as defined by the Service Roadmap + Provides 4th level support to Operations for raised issues and drives these to resolution **Who You Are:** You are passionate about making an impact and always act with integrity.
