Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Virginia Beach, Virginia Type: Contract Compensation: $80000 - $100000 annually Contractor Work Model: Hybrid Duties and Responsibilities + Design, plan, and implement network communications systems for corporate locations + Develop processes to enhance network performance and reliability + Maintain technical expertise is all areas + Provide on-call and after hours support as required. + Plan and execute network migrations, network OS upgrades, network hardware upgrades, firewall implementations and VPN installations. + Minimum of 4 years of direct technical experience supporting an enterprise class network + Hands-on experience with routing and switching platforms + Experience with layer 2/3 technologies + Experience implementing and supporting IPSEC & ADVPN/DMVPN tunnels + Experience implementing and supporting SSL VPN + Capable of extensive network troubleshooting to diagnose issues + Ability to work under general supervision + Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures. + Ability to provide technical oversight or supervision of others. + Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco networks + Experience configuring and maintaining Barracuda Firewalls + Experience with collocated networks + Experience with Hybrid-Cloud networks (Azure, AWS) + Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and switching platforms + Industry Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Security+, Network+, etc. System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
