Job Description
An Insight Global client is looking for a Network DevOps Engineer to join their network automation project. Resources shall possess strong coding and support skills at an early career level, reduce alerts and ticket volume, land bug fixes in Netgram workflows and outage automation and troubleshooting workflows, support code used in Netgram workflows, outage automation, carrier maintenance, NetRunbook, and other company-specific tooling. Responsibilities include:
• Handover support framework of identified gaps in tooling, process, and/or communications.
• Develop automated system recovery tooling by prioritizing alert failures and failure correlation.
• Aggregate failures to consolidated reporting for cross-functional ("XFN") partner consumption.
• Enhance visibility where needed (AI Ops, PreProd vs Prod, Power, and more environments).
• Provide incremental tool support growth within Edge Network Services ("ENS") operations workflows.
• Newly developed workflows would be handed over for support and production support tooling planning to make EOSS on-call for atomic workflows in alignment with Repair Console.
• Involvement in data analytics by continuing to provide tool owner feedback on tool issues.
• Tag, categorize, and group all issues that are either automated recovery or manual recovery.

Skills and Requirements
Position Requirements
• Experience with deployment automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar platforms).
• Familiarity with log analysis tools (e.g., Splunk).
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Hack, or similar languages).
• Proficiency in SQL or Presto for querying and analyzing large datasets.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support complex workflows in large-scale environments.
• Excellent communication skills for documenting processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to proprietary internal tools and systems.
Fundamental understanding of Linux and Network operating systems (IOS, EOS, JunOS). Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience supporting network infrastructure in large enterprise or cloud environments.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code concepts.
