Network Development Engineer
Job Title: Network Development EngineerJob Description We are seeking a Network Development Engineer responsible for deploying and maintaining complex network solutions in manufacturing and lab environments. You will ensure robust network operations that support launch and mission activities, troubleshoot and resolve complex routing, interconnectivity, and performance issues, implement and manage change control processes, and develop and maintain operational procedures and technical documentation. Responsibilities + Deploy and maintain complex network solutions in manufacturing and lab environments. + Ensure robust network operations supporting launch and mission activities. + Troubleshoot and resolve complex routing, interconnectivity, and performance issues. + Implement and manage change control processes for network modifications. + Develop and maintain operational procedures and technical documentation. + Lead capacity planning and performance optimization initiatives. + Enhance and manage monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection. + Drive automation initiatives to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency. + Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical infrastructure support. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability for mission-critical operations. Essential Skills + Routing and switching experience. + Network automation skills. + Cloud networking expertise. + Proficiency in AWS. + Experience with TCP/IP protocols. + Network troubleshooting and diagnostics. + 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience. + 4+ years of experience in Linux/Unix environments. + 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with AWS networking products such as Direct Connect and Transit Gateway. Work Environment This position requires working onsite in Northridge, CA, within a dynamic environment focused on low orbiting satellite payloads development. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
