Additional Skills & Qualifications A degree in engineering, computer science, engineering technology, or comparable education or comparable experience. Nine or more years of experience in designing, planning and/or troubleshooting large-scale enterprise networks, or other relevant experience. Formulates, develops, and implements integrated architectures for all corporate network systems. Installs, administers, and optimizes various enterprise networking technologies and infrastructure. Prepares and maintains detailed documentation of network data, voice, LAN and WAN communications. Maintains a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art networking systems technologies, architectures, and products. Works closely with Network Security team to ensure Network Security Policy conformance. Serves as a liaison between internal business units and outside vendors to effectively engineer and implement network infrastructure modifications that further support the strategic initiatives of the organization and resolve issues. Reviews emerging technologies. Coordinates vendor interviews and presentations. Accepts ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
