Required Qualifications (5+ years of experience): + Proven experience with facilities infrastructure, including access control, surveillance, telecommunications, life-safety, or building automation technologies and systems. + Strong knowledge in network connectivity, cabling, structured wiring, and physical technology installations, including troubleshooting and coordination with external service providers. + Hands-on experience installing and supporting IT resources such as audiovisual technology, web conferencing solutions, and point-of-sale equipment. + Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and access mechanical spaces when required. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience working on IT infrastructure projects funded by government entities. + Familiarity with IT network services such as DNS, NTP, DHCP, and Active Directory. + Knowledge of card access systems and surveillance hardware, including C•CURE 9000, Avigilon, Exacq, and Axis. On site 2 to 3 per week in Madison. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $27.00/hr.
