The Opportunity:

CACI has established upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives. 

 

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Network Administrator, Journeyman. This position is in support of the USAEUR Mission Partner the 7MSC located in Grafenwoehr, Germany.  This position is located OCONUS. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Possesses and applies practical knowledge in supporting, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading EMITS 2’s networks and servers 

Assists with managing ISP commercial connections supporting the network for high-speed, low-latency, and secure Internet service 

Plans and leads installations and integrations of new server hardware and applications 

Maintains baseline of infrastructure requirements and communicates on a routine basis with vendors on projected systems improvements 

Resolves incidents and problems and ensures network performance continuity for fail over or disaster recovery events  

Supports and administers third-party applications 

Ensures adherence to USAREUR-AF and MP cybersecurity practices and directives  

Evaluates and monitors network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and tests/evaluates for weaknesses 

Directs and executes user accounts, permissions, and passwords to support requirements 

Resolves problems reported by users and defines and supports network policies and procedures 

Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments 

Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems  

 

Qualifications: 

Required:  

Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance with the ability to maintain it 

BA/BS +4-7 year’s experience 

Certification - 8140 - CND or Network+  

Demonstrates practical expertise in configuring, maintaining, and upgrading networks and servers, with emphasis on Government or military environments.  

Possesses comprehensive knowledge of network infrastructure, server hardware, and third-party applications, ensuring adherence to cybersecurity practices.  

Exhibits proficiency in planning and leading installations, resolving complex incidents, and maintaining network performance continuity for fail over and disaster recovery.  

Possesses experience with ISP commercial connections and vendor communication for system improvements. 

 Showcases ability to evaluate network performance, manage user accounts, and develop network policies and procedures.  

Displays aptitude for operating with autonomy in developing methodologies and presenting solutions to complex network problems.  

Excels at communicating with vendors and supporting multiple complex work assignments across various network administration domains.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$69,600 - 142,700 USD
