Compensation

The compensation target range for this role is:

$136,000 - $160,000

Job Summary

The NetSuite Developer IV will provide strategic leadership and ensure the implementation of finance and business processes. They will manage the NetSuite architecture and work with business partners to enhance the functionality of the system. They will evaluate processes, prepare, present and assist with feasible action plans and other continuous improvement initiatives to meet standards and customer support requirements. They will work closely with organizational leadership to serve as a user advocate to obtain and incorporate user feedback into decision-making processes. They will contribute to technical and project planning for the organization, as it relates to business processes and workflow. They will establish, coordinate and evaluate operational processes, procedures, and technical standards for relevance to the organization's mission and objectives. They will work with the ERP team to prioritize ticket requests and complete those tasks in a timely manner.

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

Automate operational activities and tasks.   

Develop complex build/deployment systems considering load to CI/CD pipelines.   

Provide expertise to help developers/test engineers to execute software releases, configuration updates, and other release requirements.   

Participate in 24x7 on-call support and perform occasional after-hours support.   

Maintain the health of cloud-based production environments through monitoring and typical daily administration duties.   

Respond to performance issues identified by alerting and other reported incidents.   

Utilize a variety of tools, techniques, and procedures to resolve problems.   

Provide support to ERP team and testers.   

Understand new, emerging technologies and implement them.   

Evaluates business requirements to identify potential software, hardware, and system architectures to be employed to meet business objectives.   

Performs research on emerging technologies to support proof-of-concept (POCs) and identify future solutions for the organization.  

Responsible for documentation of all NetSuite enhancements. 

 

 

Required Skills, Education, Experience: 

 

Must have 7+ years of experience managing an ERP application, preferably NetSuite.   

Must have solid hands-on experience with scripting, workflows, saved searches, user roles, dashboards, setup, customizations, and creating custom records, lists, and fields.   

Will be working with an ERP steering committee, project managers, and department heads across the company. 

Must be highly organized and have effective communication skills.   

Ensure reliable performance of ERP systems.   

Working with 3rd party vendors on projects related to the ERP systems.   

Troubleshoot and resolve ERP related problems.   

Participate in projects to gather user requirements, design, configure, test, and implement ERP systems and applications.   

Recommend new features or changes to configuration/workflows based on user feedback.   

Coordinate new software releases, fixes and upgrades with technical teams and users.   

Maintain compliance with public company government regulations.   

Continually educate self and team on new features and best practices.
