NECEPT Field Technician - Pittsburgh, PA Objective We are seeking a dedicated Field Technician I to join our construction quality assurance team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in materials testing and field inspection within the construction industry. The position involves conducting various testing procedures and field assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities + Perform field testing procedures for construction materials including concrete, soil, and other specified materials + Execute quality control inspections and document findings through comprehensive reporting + Interpret technical drawings, project specifications, and engineering diagrams + Conduct systematic field observations and provide preliminary analysis of test results + Maintain accurate records of all testing activities and measurement data + Follow established protocols and safety procedures during all field operations + Prepare detailed technical reports documenting test outcomes and observations Requirements Essential Qualifications: + NECEPT certification required + Current valid driver's license with acceptable driving history + Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime when necessary + Willingness to travel up to 25% for project assignments + Physical capability to lift and maneuver materials weighing 30-50 pounds regularly + Ability to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions + Capacity to stand, walk, kneel, and squat for extended periods + Comfort working at elevated heights and climbing when required + Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent education + Previous experience in construction or related field (minimum 6 months) + Additional industry certifications in materials testing #M1 Ref: #282-Eng Pgh System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
