Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, Neat Delivery and DS Bulk, the Neat Delivery Coordinato​r will be working in a high growth, globally focused area and will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of domestic transportation for our ‘white glove’ delivery service called Neat Delivery.  These responsibilities will also include shipment building & scheduling, coordinating expedites, and a heavy interaction with our carrier base.  Neat Delivery Logistics coordinators must actively participate in/lead projects to improve service to customers in addition to implementing cost control/reduction initiatives.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Coordinate shipments to satisfy on-time delivery expectations.Work closely and communicate with vendors, sales force, and other departments as necessary to develop and implement vendor and delivery strategy.Follow procedures and work autonomously to coordinate transportation of chemicals.Identify communication shortfalls as soon as they are evident.Monitor vendor performance and alert Strategic Material Managers, Production, Procurement, or Customer Service to any transportation or delivery issues.Obtain quotes for delivery of chemicals/materials, and manage negotiation of agreements.Group based project management to improve process efficiency, service quality, and freight costsDevelop and implement transportation and vendor strategy for materials to meet departmental goals and mitigate common cost drivers.Resolve vendor discrepancies, price, and delivery issues in a timely manner.Participate in and lead meetings to manage expedited materials, major projects, and resolve problems. Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills, project management skills, as well as leadership capabilitiesCustomer/Sales Support; Data Analysis and ReportingWorking with other ChemTreat departments to meet operational objectives

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor's Degree in related field (Transportation or Operations)3-5 years of Logistics/Transportation/Distribution experience preferredPreferred experience in ChemicalTransportationStrong understanding of supply chain management, including procurement, manufacturing, warehousing and transportation.APICS or CPSM certification preferredTechnical, Analytical skills, and business knowledgeCommunication and Interpersonal skills; Teamwork and leadershipOrganizational skills; Self-management

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $65,000 - $72,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
