NDT Quality Test Specialist (Non-Destructive Test)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for a Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Specialists to support the EDC Quality 747/767/777 team based in Everett, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment to controlled standards.Assists in the documentation of procedures for setting up test equipment.Analyzes routine test, inspection or statistical data to determine product acceptance and processes conformity.Assists with standard corrective action recommendations.Documents and communicates standard test, analysis or measurement results.Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+ years of education or experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test).Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends if necessary.Ability to travel 15% of the time.Ability to work in confined spaces and fit through a 10X18 oval opening.Ability to provide training records and work history for NDT disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Recently held in the last 12 months NDT Level 2 certifications, in compliance with NAS410, for Ultrasonic and/or Eddy Current and/or Radiography.1+ years’ experience with aerospace Non-Destructive Testing.Experience performing Non-Destructive Testing on composite repairs (manual and/or C-Scan).
