NDC Dispatch Planning Lead

Overview To lead end-to-end national dispatch planning and execution, ensuring brand-wise and belt-wise alignment with sales priorities while meeting primary targets. This role partners closely with Demand Planning, Production, Customer Service, Logistics, and FGWH teams to enable safe, timely, and cost-efficient deliveries. It also drives proactive stock management to prevent site congestion, maintains inventory freshness, and ensures compliance with health, safety, FIFO, and PepsiCo policies, supported by strong governance and accurate record-keeping Responsibilities •National Dispatch Planning: Develop brand-wise (PC/NPC) dispatch plans to ensure timely delivery of finished goods in line with National Day requirements. •Logistics Alignment: Plan dispatches based on FTL sizes in adherence with 3PL logistics requirements. •Order Fulfillment: Ensure maximum coverage of forecasted dispatches by serving due orders efficiently. •Stock Management: Drive timely liquidation of stocks in alignment with QFS and Safety fundamentals, maintaining freshness (≤15 days) and minimizing aged inventory risks. •Export & Key Accounts: Manage export and key account planning while minimizing execution variances. •Collaboration with GBS: Work closely with the GBS team for timely arrangement of dispatchable orders (PC/NPC), ensuring uninterrupted execution. •Proactive Conversions: Request and secure conversions (FTLs, mass conversions) proactively to enable smooth dispatch operations. •FGWH Coordination: Partner with FGWH teams to ensure execution of critical priorities and adherence to daily dispatch plans. •Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct weekly review sessions with Sales and other key stakeholders (CCC, Logistics, Production Planning). •Operational Governance: Actively participate in MPS, S&OE, and SCRM sessions; provide recommendations on flavors, lines, and production planning to avoid WH congestion. •Compliance & Variance Review: Maintain robust mechanisms to track order vs. forecast and supply vs. forecast deviations. •Dashboard Reporting: Review weekly distributor-level variance (Ordering vs. Bottom-up Forecast), and highlight corrective actions. •Daily Order Health: Prepare and share daily “Order Health” reviews to identify risks and prevent unplanned WH choking nationwide. •Service KPIs Delivery: Achieve CFR and OTIF AOP targets through strong order cleansing, timely conversions, accurate dispatch planning, and proactive data corrections (lead times, network mapping). •Systems Utilization: Drive 100% usage of ISCP RP modules to increase FG availability at EXT DCs and deliver ≥95% scores in ISCP SP Audits. •Process Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with I2C & P2P processes. •Distributor Serviceability: Improve distributor service levels by optimizing mapping, STO creation, and minimizing conversion impact; ensure ≥99% distributor-wise compliance. •Belt-wise Planning & Reporting: Lead belt-wise reporting to track firm dispatchable plans, FTL utilization, pending orders, and highlight commentary by brand, flavor, and price point. •Task Tracking: Lead daily task reviews with CCC teams, validate closures, and highlight business impact in terms of NR and Volume. Qualifications •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, with relevant experience. •Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control systems, and dispatch planning applications. •Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ERP systems (SAP, ISCP). •Knowledge of logistics planning, FTL optimization, and order management processes. •Familiarity with EHS, QFS, and food safety standards, ensuring compliance in warehouse and dispatch operations. •Ability to analyze data, prepare dashboards, and track KPIs (OTIF, CFR, forecast variance)
