Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Navigator RN will provide direct patient care and comprehensive coordination of care for patients and their families/caregivers, to eliminate barriers to timely care, facilitate flow through system, facilitate interactions with clinical care team, increase patient and provider satisfaction, increase patient quality, maintain point of contact with providers and serve as the first point of contact for patients and families.

Job Requirements
Bachelors Of Nursing

3 years clinical nursing experience

Current and valid Registered Nurse: CA license (RN:CA)Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) certification from the American Heart AssociationMandatory Reporter Adult and Mandatory Reporter Child; tracked through Learning systemKnowledge of how to plan and deliver care to a diversion population of patientsAbility to communicate and work with people from a variety of age groups, social strata and ethnic backgroundsTime management, public relations promotion, conflict resolution and ability to be creative and innovativeDemonstrated ability for problem solving; decision making; and establishing effective rapport with personnel, patients, families, physicians, and colleaguesWhere You'll Work
