Job Description
Summary:
The Sales Manager leads and coordinates the sales team and ensures goal achievement within his/her area. He/She collaborates with all Brand Team members, shares “the Brand Account Manager View” and ensures that all relevant market insights and in-field execution feedback is transferred back to continuously adapt our Brand strategies to customer and patient needs.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver expected performance and beyond (Sales) at National levelImplement a plan to achieve Brand sales targets within agreed expense budgetsDrives Territory Management approachSet targets, objectives and incentive schemes at the beginning of each sales cycle relating to work input, output and qualityMonitor and consolidate the outcomes of regional engagement and account plans in order to feed the Brand planning process and Brand team meetingsElevate consolidated market intelligence and in-field performance to the Brand teamsInteract and show presence with key stakeholders assigned by the Brand team and as planned in the in-field teamsMotivate and build effective multi-disciplinary in-field teams, communicating the Brand strategy and how this is translated into specific objectivesCoaches, develops and assesses his/her team according to company guidelines and valuesCoach and follow up on the skills development of the Sales team by ensuring regular update on their medical, technical and special Fields knowledge through formal training sessions, coaching in the field etc.Ensure the right level of support for the Sales Force (e.g. material, SFE Manager support etc.)Qualifications
University degree5+ years’ experience in a Sales Rep and/or Sales Management role within the Pharmaceutical industryPeople leadership at varying levels of seniorityTherapy area experience highly preferredExperience in a Marketing role highly preferredKnowledge about mechanism and stakeholder in Health Care Market SwitzerlandTargeting Principles, Account Planning, Performance and Account Analysis, Project ManagementScientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic area preferredPrescribing and Dispensing ProcessesBusiness fluent in German, English and French
