National Accounts Expansion Coordinator (Temporary Assignment)

The National Accounts Expansion Coordinator (Temp) will play a critical role in supporting the outreach and onboarding of new satellite locations across North America that are not currently purchasing from Batteries Plus. This individual will drive change management communication, establish a structured customer engagement process, and support ramp-up to sales opportunities as defined by the National Accounts Sales team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Research

Identify key contacts and stakeholders at each satellite location. Develop comprehensive lists of known locations and contacts, including current procurement processes. Gather data on the current purchasing state and desired future outcomes for customers. Understand and document preferred communication methods for each account (email, phone, text, portal).

Onboarding & Communication Strategy

Develop change management communications to introduce BP to new locations. Create multi-channel onboarding materials including: Introduction emails, Webinars, Quick reference guides, FAQs, and escalation processes Implement welcome campaigns and track location engagement.

Sales Support & Opportunity Management

Collaborate with National Account Sales Executives to prioritize targets. Track outreach, buying signals, objections, and account development progress. Present a compelling value proposition tailored to each customer's needs.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

Monitor key metrics such as sales activity, spend, order status, shipping, and escalations. Measure performance against customer KPIs and strategic goals. Track communication outcomes and promote location success stories across accounts. Develop and share estimated revenue projections based on existing or anticipated spend.

Education and Experience

Proven experience in sales support, account management, or customer onboarding. Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience in crafting customer-facing materials. Ability to manage multiple accounts and outreach touchpoints with attention to detail. Familiarity with CRM systems and data tracking (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus. Change management or marketing communications experience is strongly preferred. Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.

This is a remote-based position; candidates must have a reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace. Standard business hours apply, with flexibility based on business needs or time zone differences for outreach. May require occasional travel for in-person meetings, conferences, or customer visits (if applicable and approved).
