**Position Title: National Accounts Designer**
**Pay Rate:** **$75,800 - $101,000**
Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.

**The Job You Will Perform**
+ Consistent delivery of industry leading solutions that exceed clients' expectations
+ Utilizes design skills to elevate IP's position within the marketplace
+ Takes design responsibility/lead for multiple accounts
+ Has an understanding of corrugated and paper and paper material properties from the smallest solid fiber box to large bulk applications
+ Ability to independently make creative decisions regarding structural design, logistics, print, retail environment, and retail guidelines and specifications.
+ Conceptual Development: Works with sales, designers, project managers, design manager and/or the customer to understand requirements and translates those requirements into a creative practical solution.
+ Creates dynamic, structurally sound designs and understands how to create well-thought-out, innovative solutions that can be produced within our manufacturing operations.
+ Advanced understanding of manufacturing methods/applications and utilizes knowledge when developing concept and production designs.
+ Will provide creative direction and oversee multiple projects.
+ Will work directly with clients and support multiple accounts.
+ Ability to make client presentations.
+ Evaluates and improves processes.
+ Constantly monitors industry trends sharing knowledge within team.
+ Continually develops cross-functional skills/awareness (individually and team).
+ Ability to design around the use or removal of alternative materials including wood, metal and plastic.
**The Skills You Will Bring:**
+ BS or BA in a related packaging field or equivalent experience preferred.
+ Five years of experience in design or a packaging-related industry is preferred.
+ Advanced knowledge of design corrugated and retail channel guidelines.
+ Knowledge of CAD engineering software and hardware.
+ Ability to conduct structural performance calculations and offer recommendations.
