We’re seeking an exceptional Account Lead (AL) within our Technology, Media and Communications (TMC) Vertical to oversee our Consulting portfolio, which includes strategic relationships with global consulting firms. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive growth and deepen partnerships across a set of highly complex, multi-billion-dollar customers. Your mission? To create, communicate, and execute winning strategies that expand TEKsystems’ footprint within these organizations.
This AL will serve as the leader across the portfolio, ensuring our sales teams have clear plans for success. You will build best-in-class business development strategies, craft account messaging, and guide execution. A critical component of this role is mentoring and developing sales talent, enabling them to navigate the “sell-with” motion alongside consulting partners. You’ll develop executive-level relationships and create operational plans for each account, including individual development plans for Partner Sellers tied to accounts within this portfolio.
Location: Flexible based on candidate experience.
**Responsibilities**
**Essential Functions:**
· Create, communicate, and drive sales strategy directly and through other partner sellers; strategies may include a plan of attack for customer expansion, diversification, and or saturation using both standard talent services delivery and TEK Global Services solutions across all global locations
· Create, drive, and manage growth projections using proper input from our Divisions, Verticals, DBOs, operations knowledge, marketplace knowledge, and past account knowledge
· Partner with DBOs to ensure a proper people strategy is in place for the account and collaborate across markets to bring that strategy to life
· Engage and interface with client daily within the portfolio through building relationships with managers, executive sponsors, sourcing/procurement, and key decision makers
· Focus internally on navigating and driving a customer-first mindset
· Measure and appropriately report on portfolio outcomes
· Lead root cause analysis and assess the gap between our current state and our desired future state.
· Collaborate appropriately across TEKsystems business groups including, but not limited to front office, finance, marketing, recruiting, Global Services sales and delivery, Vertical leadership, and our international partners etc., to achieve optimal performance across the accounts
· Identify risks and opportunities and develop and execute an approach based on these factors
· Close new business deals independently and by aligning sellers (AMs, SAMs, BDMs)
· Guide all revenue generating activities including coordinating requirements, directing recruiting strategy, negotiating contracts and SOWs, pipeline development and closing TGS opportunities, ensuring renewals and customer satisfaction
· Able to negotiate high level scenarios- i.e., contract negotiations around T&Cs
· Attend panel interviews, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates to assist in selection of team members servicing the account
· Other duties, as assigned, to successfully execute in role
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:**
+ Successful achievement and maintenance of AE status through badging and credentialing
+ Bachelor’s degree in business or related area preferred; combination of high school diploma/GED and equivalent experience in lieu of a degree, at a minimum
+ Experience mentoring and developing sales talent; ability to lead through influence
+ Deep understanding of consulting ecosystem or sell-with sales motion
+ Strong business acumen, including ability to identify, qualify, and win Global Services opportunities
+ Skilled in building and maturing executive-level relationships and navigating complex negotiations
Leadership capabilities including relationship building, organizational agility, and team selling
