About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Solution Lead to join our IT function. This role is pivotal in driving technical leadership, solution design, consulting, and hands-on development for projects primarily in the NAPAC (North Asia and Pacific) region and Japan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud software development, data work, and possess excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of game-changing data & digital cloud-based solutions (in Azure or AWS) to be used by our commercial and Affiliate teamsPerform hands-on data-related tasks such as SQL database management, Python scripting, and data modeling as well as troubleshooting and application optimizationPlay multiple roles including collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical consulting and guidance to stakeholders, mentoring developers and leading without authorityUnderstand business processes & strategy and translate requirements (i.e., features & user stories) into secure and scalable technical solutions.Consult with internal stakeholders such as technical product owners, brand teams, privacy & analytics to develop applications or data products & analyses that drive business outcomes. Bring creativity and curiosity to embed innovation, such as automation & AI, into every solution you build while ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to best practices, scalability, privacy-by-design, security-by-design, and compliance to any Data Usage requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with a focus on cloud software development and experience in cloud technologies such as AWS and/or Azure)Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure Data Modeler/Data Engineering experience and proficiency in SQL and/or Python Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience in project management, leading development teams and delivering solutions with agile delivery methodologies.Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology (Strong learning agility), to act as change agent, and to take ownership of issues Experience with business intelligence / data visualization solutions such as Tableau or PowerBI Experience in a regulated industryIntermediate to advanced proficiency in English and Mandarin language is required

Experience in a regional role.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with modern development practices and tools.Automation experience as well as full stack development experience (front-end and back-end)Experience building AI/ML solutions
