What You'll Do
The role of the PIPE (Private Equity PA) Staffing Specialist is to drive the full spectrum of staffing efforts and to fulfil the consulting staff people needs for the NAMR PIPE ring fence, including pipeline tracking, internal candidate sourcing, roster feedback and development tracking, and PIPE team deployment.
The PIPE Staffing team will spearhead a North America priority to drive consistent practices across all Ring fences. This individual will work closely with PIPE and NAMR Staffing Leadership to align on operations and implement within each system. This is an exciting role that sits at the intersection of the PIPE Practice Area, People team, and interacts with Finance, Career Development and an opportunity to learn the intricacies of BCG.

Proactively source candidates across system and region to provide a balanced pyramid of PIPE Associates, Consultants, and Project Leaders and by engaging with local Talent Managers (to understand candidate profiles, strengths, areas for development, etc.)Market PIPE to Talent Managers as a meaningful developmental great development opportunity for their A/CsPartner with PIPE staffing specialists to support resource-sharing, as neededWhen PIPE project needs cannot be fulfilled with resources staffed in a PIPE Ring Fence (i.e. PIPE Ring Fences are “sold out”), lead traditional case staffing efforts, alongside a Talent Manager, to identify skill set, propose, and leverage non-PIPE (“general consulting population”) resourcesManage RF capacity by increasing recruitment efforts when PIPE is sold out and limit recruiting in slower pipelinesConduct recruitment conversations and manage recruitment pipelinePIPE Resource deployment and tracking
Manage PIPE tracker including list of PIPE staff on PIPE roster, list of active and pipeline projects, business development, and, where applicable, all PIPE staff assigned to each, list of PIPE alumni in general consulting population with prior PIPE experience, ongoing feedback for each A/C on staff, etc.Collect and manage list of PIPE projects sold, BD, and, in the pipeline, and liaise with PIPE leaders to understand and diagnose each project’s needs, logistics, etc.Serve as thought partner to project team leadership in evaluating options & understanding impact on economics and team balance to optimize team deployment design as neededBuilding a keen understanding of consultant experience including the type of case work and toolkit needed for success, in order to provide sound advice and judgement for case opportunitiesCDC

Monitoring staff across key aspects of morale, retention, and affiliation; bubble up trends and provide analytic support and ownership of projects related to office morale, culture, and feedbackPlan and facilitate monthly team meetings, providing the full consulting team with updates on each case, upcoming learning & development opportunities and social initiativesPartner with local Teaming@BCG coaches to understand the morale and team needsFinance

Format Information:

That's why we operate on a hybrid model, with the expectation that team members will be in the office 3 to 5 days per week. This role is designed for those who thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is not intended for remote or virtual work.
Occasional travel may be required to attend NAMR PIPE team meetings held a few times annually.
Compensation Information:
Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.
The base salary range for this role is $81,000-$99,000 (USD).
This is an estimated range and specific base salaries within the range depend on factors such as office location, experience, and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.
In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a discretionary bonus of up to 12% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
