Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Lead Manager to join our NALA (Factory) Order-to-Cash (OTC/SAP) area. The role involves driving compliance, continuous improvement, and strategic enhancements in SAP processes. This includes development and configuration within the SAP Order-to-Cash process, especially in areas such as Order Management and SAP lanes.

This is a techno-functional leadership role where you will help define strategies, lead configurations, manage developments, and support the transformation journey within P&G's OTC operations.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and manage a team of SAP developers and consultants.

Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.

Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and innovative work environment.

Define team objectives and align them with organizational goals.

Project & Technical Management

Oversee SAP development projects from initiation through delivery.

Coordinate with stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and deliverables.

Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of SAP solutions.

Provide technical oversight, including ABAP development and system configuration.

Drive configuration of plants, storage locations, shipping points, legal entities, and other relevant master data.

Process Optimization & Strategy

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the OTC SAP landscape.

Define and document configuration standards and reusable templates.

Stay current with emerging SAP technologies and recommend appropriate adoption.

Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration

Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and SAP development teams.

Translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Communicate project updates, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.

Financial Oversight

Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource utilization.

Monitor and report financial KPIs related to SAP development initiatives.

Job Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

Proven hands-on experience as an SAP Techno-Functional Consultant.

Demonstrated experience in a leadership or managerial role within SAP development.

Background in the manufacturing, distribution, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is a plus.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in SAP ABAP development and debugging.

Strong configuration expertise in SAP SD, MM, APO, including setting up plants, lanes, and master data.

Solid understanding of EDI, SAP architecture, and integrations.

Familiarity with automation tools like Worksoft or similar is a plus.

Hands-on experience with Jira and Agile tools.

Certifications

SAP certifications are preferred.

SCRUM certifications such as Scrum Master I (CSM) or Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) are a plus.

Soft Skills

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.

High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments.

Familiarity with Order Management best practices in SAP.

Background in manufacturing, distribution, or consumer goods (CPG) sectors.
