Job Responsibilities :The NAD Product Development Intern supports product and market strategy by analyzing competitor products, stress-testing performance, and developing benchmarks to support product quality, innovation, and marketing claims.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct weekly deep-dive analyses on specific competitor products to identify their competitive advantages and technical shortcomings. You will present these findings to the team to help inform our market positioning.
Execute rigorous product testing with a focus on problem simulation. You will attempt to simulate user errors and identify failure points to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.
Design and create novel benchmark tests that generate comprehensive performance data. This data will directly support the creation of marketing collateral and technical claim substantiation.
Propose hypothetical new product features or improvements for our current catalog based on your market research and review findings.
Maintain the organization and flow of product samples, ensuring that prototypes and competitor units are cataloged and ready for testing or team review

Pre-Requisites :Qualifications

Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to interpret data, customer feedback, and research findings.
Hands-on and comfortable testing products, identifying failure points, and organizing physical samples.
Strong communicator who can translate technical results into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Product Design, Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Keynote; experience with research or competitive analysis is a plus.
Salary Ranges (per month):
