We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world. **Position Brand Description:** The MRO Associate is responsible for overseeing the performance and execution of a managed MRO vendor, ensuring they meet the operational standards and expectations established within the North America (NA) MRO storeroom. This role ensures that the vendor effectively manages Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) spare parts, maintains inventory levels, and supports uninterrupted facility operations. The MRO Associate will be the primary liaison between the managed vendor and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with company standards, cost-effectiveness, and continuous process improvements. **Key Objectives/Deliverables:** + **Vendor Oversight & Compliance:** Ensure the managed MRO vendor adheres to contractual obligations, performance metrics, and company standards for MRO operations. + **Operational Performance Monitoring:** Regularly assess vendor execution, ensuring alignment with NA MRO’s operational model, efficiency benchmarks, and service-level agreements. + **Inventory Management & Optimization:** Oversee the managed MRO vendor’s utilization of **CMMS (Maximo)** to manage inventory levels, ensure accurate data entry, and optimize reorder points and economic order quantities. + **Procurement & Order Management:** Ensure that the managed MRO vendor effectively processes purchase orders (POs), provides proper lead times, and proactively manages delivery timelines and cost adjustments. + **Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement:** Act as a problem-solving lead by working with the managed MRO vendor, internal NA MRO teams, purchasing, finance, and site teams to resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. + **Relationship Management:** Maintain strong communication with the managed MRO vendor, internal stakeholders, and contract staff to align NA MRO operations with business needs. + **Corrective Actions & Quality Control:** Monitor and escalate defective product issues, ensuring corrective actions are taken by the managed MRO vendor with documented follow-ups. + **Reporting & Performance Reviews:** Develop and maintain key performance reports, including managed MRO vendor scorecards, backorder tracking, expedite sheets, and operational dashboards. + **Process Alignment & Standardization:** Ensure the managed MRO vendor operates in accordance with **NA MRO storeroom practices** , including inventory control, order prioritization, and logistics coordination. + **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Work with maintenance, reliability, and operational teams across all US sites to ensure NA MRO availability and vendor alignment with business needs. **Basic Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field + Experience managing vendor relationships + Experience with these software packages: Maximo (Buyer level), SAP, Ariba, Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Experience with the purchasing process in CMMS. + Experience with inventory management techniques. + Experience in GMP and GLP environments **Key Competencies:** + Understanding of MRO Stores Business + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors. + Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. + Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. + Self-management skills. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability for technical growth and application. + Focus on customer support. **Other Information:** Travel minimum: 20%. The anticipated wage for this position is $64,500 - $140,800 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
