NA Credit Lead

Make It Possible.** You will oversee credit management and/or cash collection activity. Working with the sales and finance functions, you will minimize overdues, and clear claims and deductions in an accurate and timely manner, monitoring and mitigating our risk and minimizing bad debt write-offs. **How you will contribute** You will: + Be responsible for monthly reporting of accounts receivable (A/R) results across MDLZ Business Units highlighting and explaining variances versus the Annual Contract (A/C)/ Latest Estimate LE) and prior year + Prepare forecasts required (IPC/Past Dues/DSO) and tracking current year results + Handle administration of customer bankruptcy activities, including the filing of MDLZ claims with the Courts and working with Credit Management and Internal/External Legal Counsel in developing defenses for Preference actions filed against the Company + Prepare, analyze and execute all activities related to the NA FACTORING program + Develop special analysis of MDLZ accounts receivable portfolio as requested + Prepare/approve and facilitate credit evaluations of MDLZ customers + Provide credit analysis and recommendations of potential MDLZ customers + Facilitate the order release process **What you will bring** A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: + Significant experience in credit and collection management or financial accounting + A business perspective to the context of credit decisions + Experience leading and developing a team + Able to analyze data and derive insights into action with a focus on delivering to timelines and KPIs + Great interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills + Able to influence, negotiate and apply commercial acumen **More about this role** **What you need to know about this position:** + Manage Accounts Receivable Reporting + Customer Credit Reviews/Risk Analysis + Potential Customer Credit Reviews/Risk Analysis + Special Analysis /BTC Project Lead + Management of Bankruptcy Administration + Manage activities (selling and payments) related to the NA Factoring Program + Facilitate the order release process and review and approve all VHI and HI Risk orders released for SR Manager Credit approval + Monitor due date adjustment process and make required changes after receiving proper approvals + DSO analysis + Prepare NGMC and CRF quarterly surveys + Co-Manage Credit Department Activities for Acquisitions and Divestitures **What extra ingredients you will bring:** **Education / Certifications:** + Associate's Degree in Finance/Accounting or Related Degree **Job specific requirements:** + 3-5 years finance/accounting experience + Customer focus and process management to maintain relationships with customers and colleagues + General knowledge of forecasting, SOX compliance, and GAAP preferred + Strong Excel, BI reporting and SAP ECC experience required **Travel requirements: 5-10%** **Work schedule: Remote, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST** The base salary range for this position is $95,100 to $130,800; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
