Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a MVCA - Customer Order Engineer. This position is ONSITE M-F 8:00am-5:00pm at our Arden NC (Asheville) Eaton facility. This role is supporting our Medium Voltage Controls Assembly. This position is responsible for accurately interpreting purchaser specifications and translating them into drawings and bills-of-materialunderstandable by manufacturing and purchasing. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you’ll do:** **In this role:** + Develop a variety of complex drawings and bills-of-material based upon established product designs, providing sufficientdetail to accurately convey the purchaser’s equipment application. + Consult with plant and field sales engineers in interpreting and defining new equipment applications. + Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products. + Advise C.O.D., Manufacturing and Purchasing – when required – in interpreting information for the accurate production ofequipment in accordance with the purchaser’s requirements. + Consult with the Quality Department in resolving issues after the equipment is shipped, when required. + Direct purchaser visits to approve or release equipment. + Conduct special development/application projects of a complex nature. + Inform in cost and cycle time improvement activities. + Plan travel as required to support any of the above. + Conduct technical training seminars, as required. + Provide technical training and guidance to department personnel. + Analyze needs and recommend revisions to Department Policies and Procedures. **Qualifications:** **Required (Basic) Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. + No relocation is being offered. Candidates must currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50-mile radius of Asheville, NC to be considered.
