Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a PRN Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist to join our Imaging Department at Baylor Scott & White Pflugerville Medical Center. This PRN opportunity is ideal for an experienced sonographer who is flexible and available to provide coverage across various shifts, supporting both scheduled and as-needed imaging needs.
As a Multispecialty Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across multiple specialties while delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care in a collaborative hospital environment.
What You’ll DoPerform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in two or more specialties according to established protocols.
Produce high-quality sonographic images and obtain accurate measurements for physician interpretation.
Identify, evaluate, and document abnormalities; expand exam scope when clinically appropriate.
Prepare and position patients; clearly explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
Assist providers with ultrasound-guided procedures when required.
Maintain ultrasound equipment, perform quality control, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Follow all infection control, safety, and patient-care standards.
Collaborate with Radiologists, nurses, and imaging staff to support efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
Accurately document procedures and maintain imaging records within PACS and EMR systems.
Participate in call rotation as required.

Education: Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
Experience: Less than 1 year
Certification / Licensure:
Certified by ARDMS in at least two specialties, such as:
RDMS: AB, OB/GYN, BR, PS
RDCS: AE, FE, PE
RVT or RMSKS
BLS Certification (within 30 days of hire)
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles
Excellent communication, patient-care, and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to a flexible PRN schedule
