Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring an experienced Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist to join our Imaging Department at Baylor Scott & White Round Rock Medical Center. This full-time evening shift position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, consistent Monday–Friday hours, and the opportunity to perform a wide variety of advanced ultrasound procedures in a leading Central Texas medical center.
As a Multispecialty Sonographer, you’ll perform comprehensive ultrasound exams across multiple specialties—including Abdominal, OB/GYN, Vascular, Musculoskeletal, Cardiac, and Small Parts—helping deliver accurate diagnoses with compassion and clinical excellence.
What You’ll Do
Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in two or more specialties following departmental protocols.
Produce high-quality sonographic images and provide accurate measurements for physician interpretation.
Identify, evaluate, and document abnormalities; extend exam scope when medically necessary.
Prepare and position patients; explain procedures clearly to ensure comfort and cooperation.
Assist providers with ultrasound-guided procedures in the imaging department or OR.
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; ensure quality control and proper calibration.
Follow strict infection control, safety, and patient-care protocols at all times.
Collaborate with Radiologists, nurses, and technologists to support exceptional care.
Document all procedures accurately within PACS and EMR systems.
Participate in call rotation as needed.

RequirementsEducation: Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
Experience: Minimum 2 years of multispecialty ultrasound experience
Certification / Licensure:
Certified by ARDMS in at least two specialties, such as:
RDMS: AB, OB/GYN, BR, PS
RDCS: AE, FE, PE
RVT or RMSKS
BLS Certification (within 30 days of hire)
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles
Excellent communication, patient care, and problem-solving skills
