Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring an experienced Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist to join our Imaging Department at Baylor Scott & White Brenham Medical Center. This full-time position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures in a supportive, patient-centered environment.
As a Multispecialty Sonographer, you’ll perform advanced ultrasound studies across multiple specialties—including Abdominal, OB/GYN, Vascular, Musculoskeletal, Cardiac, and Small Parts—to help diagnose and treat patients with compassion and accuracy.
What You’ll Do
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in two or more specialties following established protocols and physician orders.
Deliver high-quality sonographic images and ensure accurate measurements for physician interpretation.
Identify and define abnormalities specific to each exam, expanding the scope when clinically necessary.
Prepare and position patients for exams; explain procedures clearly and ensure patient comfort throughout.
Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures in the department and OR settings.
Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment; report and troubleshoot any issues promptly.
Follow infection-control and patient safety standards at all times.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists to support high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate records within PACS and EMR systems and ensure timely documentation.
Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

RequirementsEducation: Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
Experience: Minimum 2 years of multispecialty ultrasound experience
Certification / Licensure:
Certified by ARDMS in at least two separate specialties such as:
RDMS (AB, OB/GYN, BR, PS)
RDCS (AE, FE, PE)
RVT or RMSKS
Must hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 30 days of hire)
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, sonographic principles, and patient care best practices
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
