We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source for Multipurpose Support Vessel Installation Supervisor. The position will be based offshore (Support Vessel) and is responsible Represent the company on board installation vessels to ensure safe and quality – compliant execution of works by providing oversight on Contractor’s Day to day activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
This is a contract role with initial duration of 36 months working on rotational basis with 28 days ON / 28 days OFF. Please see details below:
Title: Multipurpose Support Vessel Installation Supervisor
Start Date: Negotiable (typically within 1 month notice)
Duration: 36 months (potential for extension)
Location: Offshore (Vessel/Barge)
Working Schedule: 12 hours per day with 28 days ON / 28 days OFF
Key Accountabilities Reports directly to Reports to Lead T&I Pipeline/cable Acts as COMPANY Site Representative onboard the vessel during the execution phase, communicating the activity status and progress to the Vessel Lead. Serve as day-to-day interface with EPC contractor/craft labour. Monitor and ensure compliance with specification, procedures, and plans. Work effectively within established procedures or create and endorse new procedures as necessary to further develop the Project Management philosophy. Interfaces with various project teams and departments on resolving related issues that requires effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration. Exhibits team leadership skills, integrity, self-confidence, fairness. Takes initiatives, based on experienced gained, to deliver timely and cost-effective service. Manage the resolution of problems and issues in more demanding situations using precedent and own acquired knowledge.
Qualifications:
Diploma In Engineering.
Knowledge and/or Experience: Min 8 years offshore installation experience on vessels in Transport & Installation activities. Minimum 5 years’ experience as Field Engineer or site supervisor onboard Installation vessels. Previous work experience with QELNG and knowledge of QELNG PTW systems is desirable but not mandatory. Knowledge in installation of offshore facilities and execution methods of subsea structures by an installation vessel. Demonstrate extensive experience on MSV supervision. Demonstrate basic training or knowledge in Lifting, Rigging and Safety standards.
