Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a PRN Multimodality Technologist to join the Imaging team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Cedar Park. This role is ideal for a technologist looking for consistent PRN coverage every Wednesday night, with the opportunity to work in a highly respected healthcare system known for innovation, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
As a Multimodality Technologist, you will perform imaging procedures across two or more modalities, with at least 50% focus in an advanced modality such as CT, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or Interventional Radiology, supporting both ambulatory and hospital patients.
What You’ll Do
Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures according to established protocols.
Maintain image quality, productivity, and workflow efficiency.
Communicate effectively using AIDET principles to ensure a positive patient experience.
Prepare and position patients appropriately; adjust equipment settings and exposure factors.
Adhere to all radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards.
Maintain imaging equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness requirements.
Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Verify requisitions, patient history, pregnancy status, shielding, and consent documentation.
Accurately document and maintain imaging records in PACS and EMR systems.
Support department operations by assisting with supply management and reporting issues.
Participate in call coverage, if required.

QualificationsEducation
Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
Experience
Less than 1 year of experience required
Certification / Licensure
ARRT (R) – Radiography
ARRT (CT) – Computed Tomography
Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license issued by the Texas Medical Board
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer
This position requires certification in CT and X-Ray. Other imaging modality certifications are not applicable to this role.
