Join Our Imaging Team
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Multimodality Technologist (PRN) to join our Emergency Department imaging team in Cedar Park, Texas. This position offers a consistent Wednesday-night shift in a fast-paced ED environment providing care to a wide variety of patients.
We’re looking for an experienced technologist certified in both Radiography (X-Ray) and Computed Tomography (CT) who delivers high-quality images, maintains safety standards, and communicates compassionately with patients and team members.
What You’ll Do
Perform diagnostic Radiography and CT exams according to protocols and physician orders.
Deliver high-quality imaging for emergency and inpatient cases while ensuring radiation safety and image accuracy.
Use AIDET communication to explain procedures, reduce anxiety, and provide an exceptional patient experience.
Prepare and position patients correctly, adjust equipment controls, and verify exposure settings for optimal quality.
Follow infection-control and sterile-technique procedures at all times.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ED staff to ensure timely, coordinated patient care.
Maintain imaging equipment, cleanliness, and supplies; report issues promptly.
Accurately document exams and maintain records in PACS and EMR systems.

RequirementsEducation: Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
Experience: Less than one year required; hospital or ED experience preferred
Certification / Licensure:
Certified by the ARRT (R) in Radiography
Certified by the ARRT (CT) in Computed Tomography
Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
BLS Certification (required within 30 days of hire)
Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced ED setting
