**Key Responsibilities** + Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house. + Perform troubleshooting and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. + Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment and hotel facilities are in good working condition. + Respond promptly to guest requests and engineering-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to guest comfort. + Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in a clean and safe condition. + Support energy-saving initiatives and adhere to sustainability practices as per IHG guidelines. + Ensure compliance with hotel safety, security, and fire prevention policies. + Maintain daily logbooks, records of maintenance activities, and inventory of spare parts. + Assist in capital projects, refurbishment, and minor renovations when required. + Cooperate with other departments to deliver seamless guest service. **Job Requirements** + ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant trade. + Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel/ facility maintenance or a similar role. + Multi-skilled in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs. + Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure. + Good communication skills in English and local language. + Physically fit to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, climbing, and working in confined spaces. + Knowledge of workplace safety practices and fire-life-safety systems. **What We Offer** At Holiday Inn Express, we believe in “Simple, Smart Travel.” We offer our colleagues a supportive and inclusive workplace, opportunities for career growth within IHG, and a culture that values teamwork and guest satisfaction.
