The Machinist programs, sets up, and runs all equipment in the manufacture and rework of mechanical components, including lathes and CNC grinders.

$29.13/hour

Schedule:
Monday through Friday - A shift - Overtime frequently offered
Responsibilities:
Position requires working on all types of machine shop and sheet metal equipment.Uses precision measuring tools as necessary to verify the quality of parts manufactured.Uses the necessary measuring devices to ensure parts are adhering to customer requirements.May be required to operate more than one machine.Trains and advises peers as necessary in the manufacture and rework of component parts and assemblies.Maintains housekeeping and observes safety rules and practices.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required2 years of Experience with CNC equipment or a 2-year degree.Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.Prior experience reading drawings and/or blueprints is required.Computer literacy – knowledgeable/competent in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.Able to use protective equipment, including safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, face mask/covering where required, and other protective clothing based on job assignments/duties. #LI-KR1#LI-ONSITE
