Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of a Multi-Modality Technologist is to perform and produce images for any combination of 2 procedures with related techniques, such as CT, XR, or MRI.
Essential Functions:
Performs duties for any 2 imaging modalities, such as XR, CT, MRI, ARRT or RDMS.Safely operate equipment and accessories to minimize risk of patient and equipment.Selecting appropriate imaging and sequences in alignment with multiple factors.Knowledge in workflows, procedures, and processes of the imaging modalities.Perform venipuncture including starting, maintaining, and removing intravenous access.Provides radiation protection and other protection specific to the modalities.Obtain and verify the patient clinical history and lab work.Use of POC device for Lab work.Education:
Associate's from an ARRT accredited institute for an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or an approved School of Ultrasound/Medical Sonography (preferred)Associate of Applied Science in Imaging (preferred)
