Multi-Facility Inventory Manager - 19400

Our client, a well-established and evolving company in a highly regulated sector, is seeking an Multi-Facility Inventory Manager to support the organization’s operational performance and inventory strategy. This leadership role plays a critical part in ensuring the availability of products, minimizing waste, and aligning inventory with business demand. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Demand and Supply Planning, the Manager will guide strategic inventory planning while collaborating cross-functionally to support forecasting, supply visibility, and continuous improvement.

Multi-Facility Inventory Manager responsibilities:
Inventory Strategy & Oversight
Maintain a corporate-level view of inventory health across internal and third-party sites. Design and implement inventory strategies aligned with organizational goals, including policies on safety stock, service levels, and obsolescence. Monitor inventory performance using key metrics (e.g., turnover, write-offs, availability) and take corrective action where needed. Ensure visibility and control over various inventory types, including raw materials, packaging, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Develop procedures that support efficient inventory practices and healthy cash flow.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with demand planning, procurement, operations, and commercial teams to ensure inventory aligns with supply plans and business needs. Identify at-risk inventories and facilitate timely decision-making for disposition. Actively participate in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and monthly S&OP meetings, sharing inventory insights and projections. Support scenario planning based on commercial trends or supply constraints. System Management & Process Improvement Utilize ERP systems, reporting tools, and data analytics to identify opportunities for optimization. Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects focused on inventory efficiency and supply chain cost reduction. Ensure inventory integrity between systems and external partners, particularly with regard to sellable and non-sellable stock. Conduct and oversee inventory control measures, including cycle counts and audits. The successful candidate has: 7+ years of experience in inventory, supply planning, or operations, ideally in a regulated environment (e.g., health, manufacturing, or other controlled sectors) A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI) Familiarity with forecasting, inventory modeling, and continuous improvement methodologies Ability to manage ambiguity and prioritize in a fast-paced, evolving environment Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills APICS certification (CPIM or CLTD) and knowledge of lean principles are considered assets What you can expect from the company: Salary range: $100,000- $115,000 plus bonuses A mission-driven, growth-oriented organization in a complex industry Comprehensive health and wellness benefits Opportunities to work with cross-functional leadership and shape strategic initiatives A culture that supports innovation, learning, and continuous improvement
