Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems to ensure safe and efficient operations throughout our facility.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and assess equipment performance to identify hazards, malfunctions, or maintenance needs.
Collaborate with technical staff to resolve issues and recommend improvements.
Interpret and work from electrical, electronic, and mechanical schematics and diagrams.
Assemble and test prototype models and experimental circuitry based on engineering specifications.
Recommend design or installation changes to improve maintenance efficiency.
Troubleshoot and repair solid-state motor drives, temperature controllers, and computer-based systems.
Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate system performance and reliability.
Analyze data using diagnostic tools such as scope meters and other instruments.
Calibrate and align components to ensure optimal functionality.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in a PLC or Maintenance Mechanic role within an industrial environment.
Strong technical knowledge in PLCs, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
Proficiency in using electrical test instruments and diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with MS Office, HMI, and Control Logic platforms.
Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain backups of all electrical device programs.
Inspect and evaluate newly installed equipment under real operating conditions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
