We are seeking a dedicated Multi Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position requires flexibility to work across various shifts, including mandatory Sundays. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance of key assets such as extrusion presses, stretchers, saws, ovens, and automated handling systems.
ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on extrusion equipment including presses, billet loaders, ovens, pullers, and saws.Maintain and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and PLC-controlled devices.Perform electrical work up to 480V, including wiring, MCCs, and control panels.Support preventive and predictive maintenance efforts such as vibration analysis and thermography.Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on equipment upgrades, energy efficiency, uptime, and scrap reduction.Essential SkillsStrong hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting of bearings, hydraulics, and schematics.Ability to perform 480V troubleshooting using a volt meter.At least 2 years of experience in an industrial setting.Comfortable reading schematics and working with PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in stick welding on steel, extrusion, and fabrication.Skilled in MIG/TIG welding, fabrication, and machining.Questions to ask: Can you read schematics, and how confident are you in troubleshooting machinery?Why Work Here?Join a recognized industry leader known for excellence in quality and service within the Building and Construction markets. Work EnvironmentWork in a large warehouse facility with over 100 workers. Conditions can vary, being cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Utilize golf carts for efficient mobility around the facility. All necessary tools are provided by the company. The work environment is evolving with ongoing efforts to improve its reputation.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
