ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during servicePerform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machinesDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustmentsPerform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilitiesPerform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions as necessaryDemonstrate ability to troubleshoot and repair motor circuits, which includes simple electrical control circuitsTest electric motors for opens and shortsUse a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing dutiesFollow LOTO procedures for machines/equipmentRegular and timely attendance requiredNotify supervision of needed repairsComply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeepingAdditional duties may be assigned by management
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Three years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience, including but not limited to: diagnosing and troubleshooting; preventative maintenance; lockout/tagout procedures.Must have high school diploma or GEDMulti-Craft Industrial experience: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulicMust have good working knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques, work order systems, equipment lubrication standards and industrial safety standardsHighly motivated and able to work independently
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
To successfully perform the essential functions of this role it requires the ability to: stand occasionally, walk frequently, frequent use of hands (reach with hands and arms), view computer monitor, use telephone, speak and listen frequently.
