Job Title: MuleSoft Administrator Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid or On-site) Employment Type: Direct Hire Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled MuleSoft Administrator to manage and maintain our MuleSoft Anypoint Platform environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure cloud services, PowerShell scripting, and middleware administration. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our integration infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: + Install, configure, and manage MuleSoft ESB and API Gateway environments. + Monitor system performance, availability, and security across on-prem and Azure cloud environments. + Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools. + Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. + Perform regular system backups, patching, and disaster recovery testing. + Troubleshoot and resolve integration and platform issues. + Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures. + Implement and enforce security policies and access controls. + Stay current with MuleSoft updates, Azure innovations, and DevOps best practices. Required Qualifications: + 3+ years of experience as a MuleSoft Administrator or similar role. + Proficiency with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Runtime Manager and API Manager. + Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor). + Solid scripting skills in PowerShell (Bash or Python is a plus). + Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments. + Understanding of SOA, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration patterns. + Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics). + MuleSoft certification (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect) is preferred. Preferred Skills: + Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other infrastructure-as-code tools. + Familiarity with TIBCO, Kafka, or other middleware platforms. + Knowledge of ITIL processes and working in Agile/Scrum environments. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
