We are seeking a highly motivated IAM Operations Lead to oversee and drive the daily operations of our identity and Access Management (IAM) function. This role will be responsible for managing the execution of key IAM processes, leading a team of Ops Engineers and administrators and ensuring security, compliance and resiliency of IAM services. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational mindset, a passion for service excellence, and a continuous improvement approach, including the integration of automation and scalable process
What You’ll Do:
Lead the day-to-day operations of IAM processes including user Life Cycle Management, Access Management, Privileged Access, Secrets Management, Active Directory, PKI.
Act as the point of escalation for complex IAM issues, coordinating resolution with cross-functional teams.
Own and manage IAM related incidents, including major incident management, ensuring timely resolution and communication to stakeholders.
Drive problem management by identifying root cause of issues, implementing long term fixes, and contributing to system and process resilience.
Monitor and maintain the health and performance of IAM tools and systems (e.g, SailPoint, Okta, EntraID, CyberArk, Active Directory)
Ensure operational compliance with internal security policies and external regulations (e.g, SOX, HIPAA).
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, evidence and process insights.
Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures, ensuring they reflect current processes and controls.
Collaborate with teams in SCRUM / Agile and processes to deliver IAM Projects effectively and on schedule.
Create, update, and maintain metrics and reports to show progress an value of IAM program.
Participate in and support on-call rotations for 24 x7 incident response and shift based coverage including off-hours.
Continuously evaluate IAM processes and technologies, recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and security.
Proven ability to train and mentor junior administrators, fostering their professional growth and enhancing team capabilities.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Requirements:
10 years of experience in IAM platforms.
Strong understanding in IAM technologies such as Active Directory, Entra, IGA, RBAC, MFA, SSO, OAuth, SAML, PKI and PAM tools.
Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with compliance framework (SOX, HIPPA, etc.) and audit processes.
Additional Skills
Sound technical Experience in the following: Okta, Microsoft Entra, Strata.io, AD, LDAP
Advanced experience with automating user provisioning and reporting using industry standard platforms and programming languages (Powershell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
Advanced manipulation of authentication and authorization tokens (SAML assertions, OAuth claims, grants, and scopes, etc.)
Experiences with designing successful implementation of secure cloud-native applications, platforms, core services and security controls across public and private environments.
Experience as Security architect while leveraging modern technologies and processes.
Knowledge of the healthcare, distribution, supply chain or software industries is a plus.
Strong technical aptitude and experience with a wide variety of technologies
Ability to rapidly learn and if required evaluate a new tool or technology.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in addition to influencing skills.
Demonstrated and progressive leadership experience with technical teams
Strong interpersonal and communications skills to build/ maintain ongoing business relationships.
Must have a strong customer-centric attitude and quality focus.
Have been successful in working across organizational boundaries, bringing together people with diverse perspectives and experience to find solutions to complex technical issues.
Education:
Bachelor’s in Finance, IT, Computer Science or related field required
