Job Summary
This people leader role leads the Medical and Scientific Affairs (MSA) team to develop and execute medical strategies that drive scientific excellence and diagnostic innovation. The role builds strong cross-functional partnerships across Roche and with external stakeholders to support clinical impact. It is also responsible for quality system oversight and continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities
1. Develop and implement Medical and Scientific strategies and tactics through a team of medical and scientific Affairs.
2. Accountable for developing and defining the solid working relationships and structures between MSA and Roche Diagnostics Business Area and Divisional organizations to accomplish aligned common goals.
3. Provides leadership in the following key areas:
Driving scientific excellence of MSA team
Driving development and exchange of scientific information about disease diagnosis and disease management
Driving strategic product development by leveraging clinical knowledge
Maintaining Roche in a leadership position with respect to scientific and clinical innovation via building and maintaining strategic relationships with key academic medical universities, Clinical researchers and professional medical and diagnostic associations.
Driving Diagnostic innovation and leadership via top to top communication and strategic alignment with Roche Divisional and Business Area and Medical and Scientific Affairs teams
4. Responsible for developing, defining, maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
Who you are
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as medicine, pharmacy, nursing, or science is required.
+10yr of relevant working experience in healthcare industry
Clinical research, Medical Affairs related experience preferred
