Join our Swindon team as a dedicated and ambitious MS&T Process Specialist. Thermo Fisher Scientific provides a crucial role in improving our Production team's functions.

ResponsibilitiesAssist the Production team in setting up equipment and processes.Generate and approve process documentation.Transfer and leverage existing process knowledge into the SWC systems.Implement and deliver effective, safe, and compliant manufacturing operations.Maintain processes in accordance with GMP and regulatory requirements.Engage in equipment and process validation during commercial manufacturing.Champion and establish robust, lean, compliant processes.Liaise with clients and suppliers, acting as a key contact for client personnel.Implement staff training and development programs.Troubleshoot and improve manufacturing, filling, inspection, and packaging processes.Monitor and communicate progress to essential collaborators.Acquire and maintain a Bronze license Badge for Production areas.

Eh&sUnderstand and align with emergency procedures and safe systems of work.Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety rules and signage.Promptly report and investigate all accidents, near misses, and rule breaches.

Qualifications/ExperienceDegree or equivalent experience in Science or Engineering, ideally in Pharmaceutical or Chemical Engineering desired but not essential.Essential understanding of end-to-end aseptic processes (liquids, powders, lyophilization).Desirable experience with new facility/process start-ups.Proactive, pragmatic, and sound decision-making skills.Experience in lean manufacturing and technical writing.Willingness to travel and work outside the UK for equipment validation.
