Danfoss is hiring a MRO Category Manager at our Ames, IA facility. In this you will be responsible for leading sourcing and negotiation activities of all MRO Integrator suppliers into a reduced number of preferred suppliers; also implements optimization ideas, improves commercial conditions, and contributes to competitiveness.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

Develop and maintain category strategy (direction, goals, supplier strategy, execution plans)  Negotiate contracts Manage supplier relationship Execute initiatives to ensure continuous improvements Manage key stakeholders Communicate strategies and prioritize daily Contact with wide range of external suppliers What We're Looking For

 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Electrical, Mechanical & Process Engineering, or International Relations 8 years experience with negotiation, project management, and stakeholder management 2 years experience with procurement of MRO Integrators, Catalogs and Cutting Tools

 

Work conditions:

Full-time, 40 hours per wee

The salary for this position is $120,000 to $125,000 and this is non-negotiable.
