This position offers a great starting point on which to expand your skillsets and experience. **This position is $10,000 sign on bonus eligible** **A caregiver in this position works nights, 3:00pm-11:30pm.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Acquire and review patient questionnaire, chart and data/requisition to determine contraindication of MRI examination. + Perform MRI procedures required per protocol and perform daily QA. + Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams. + Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam. + Report any malfunctions and observe potential equipment dysfunctions and report problems or calls for service. + Maintain available equipment up-time at the highest level for patient accessibility. + Instruct and mentor new hires and Radiology students. + Attend in-service programs and professional affiliation sessions. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT + Must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT), **or** R.T.(S)(ARRT), **or** R.T.(T)(ARRT), in good standing. + **OR** must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(N) (ARRT) in good standing **or** be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board. **Note** : ARDMS and NMTCB are primary pathways + Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging: R.T.(MR)(ARRT) required within one year of hire + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification + One year experience as a General Radiologic Technologist Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Experience in other imaging modalities + Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes + Advanced interpersonal and communication skills are required to provide excellent care to patients and families + Ability to function well with minimal or no direct supervision Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
