MRI Technologist Location: Rayus Radiology Address: 8607 E. US Highway 36, Suite 200 About the Role Rayus Radiology is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations in an outpatient imaging environment. The technologist will operate a 1.5T Siemens Aera magnet and Hitachi Oval 1.5T system, perform non-contrast and diagnostic MRI exams, and work independently during evening and weekend shifts. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent patient communication, and the ability to work autonomously after a brief training period. The technologist will collaborate with other MRI techs running additional magnets and support patient care throughout the imaging process. Key Responsibilities + Perform MRI scans, including non-contrast exams from 4:00 PM–9:30 PM + Operate Siemens Aera 1.5T and Hitachi Oval 1.5T MRI systems + Work independently during evening hours with double coverage until 4:00 PM + Collaborate with technologists operating additional magnets + Provide patient care, reassurance, and support during MRI procedures + Follow MRI protocols and safety standards + Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records + Wear black, charcoal gray, or any shade of blue scrubs + Perform additional duties as assigned Shift Schedule Shift: Evenings & Weekends Hours: + Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (30-minute lunch) + Saturday: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM + Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM Total Weekly Hours: 32 Weekends: Required Minimum Requirements + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field + Registered with ARRT (MRI) as required + Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required to submit + Ability to work independently after one-week training + Strong knowledge of MRI protocols + Familiarity with 3D cutouts and market knowledge base + Current CPR (if applicable) + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required) + Current health certificate (per state/contract regulations) + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements + Strong communication skills; English proficiency required + Must be at least 18 years of age Compensation Packages Local MRI Technologist Local Pay: $55 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,760 Travel MRI Technologist Hourly Pay: $30 Meals: $476 Housing: $770 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,206 Facility Information Rayus Radiology is a leading outpatient imaging center offering advanced MRI services.
