Position Overview
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced and motivated MRI Technologist to join our Imaging Services team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – College Station. This full-time position offers flexible weekday scheduling options, a competitive $10,000 sign-on bonus, and the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

What You’ll Do
Perform high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
Produce clear, accurate diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
Utilize AIDET communication to ensure patients feel informed, safe, and comfortable.
Prepare and position patients while adjusting equipment settings for optimal imaging results.
Maintain strict compliance with MRI safety, infection control, and patient protection standards.
Assist with invasive and multimodality procedures using proper sterile techniques.
Maintain MRI equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineers, physicists, radiologists, and nursing staff to support quality imaging services.
Verify patient documentation, including requisitions, history, and safety screenings.
Maintain accurate imaging records in PACS and EMR systems.
Assist with inventory management and workflow improvement initiatives.
Participate in call coverage, if required.

QualificationsEducation
High School Diploma or GED required
Graduate of an accredited MRI or Radiologic Technology program preferred
Experience
Less than one year of experience required
Hospital MRI experience preferred
Certification / Licensure
One of the following required:
ARRT (MR) – Magnetic Resonance Imaging
ARRT (R) – Radiography
ARMRIT – American Registry of MRI Technologists
Texas Medical Board (MRT) License (as applicable)
BLS Certification within 30 days of hire
