Job Title: MRB Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned MRB/Liaison Engineer with a proven track record in aerospace production, process improvement, and cross-functional team leadership. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in nonconformance analysis, engineering dispositions, and coordination across diverse manufacturing environments, including composite and metallic structures.

ResponsibilitiesServe as a Material Review Engineer (MRB) in aerospace production or preproduction environments.Analyze and document dispositions for production non-conformances within FAA and OEM requirements.Use single-signature authority to disposition non-conformances on structural components, systems, and electrical installations.Investigate root causes and recommend design resolutions.Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve issues.Apply systems-thinking to improve producibility and maintainability.Use CAD/PLM tools like CATIA, Enovia, or NX to interpret model-based definitions.Lead or participate in cross-functional teams for engineering and manufacturing initiatives.Essential SkillsExperience as an MRB Engineer or equivalent.Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Evaluate and disposition nonconforming materials and assemblies across aerospace manufacturing programs.Serve as MRB authority to review, analyze, and implement engineering solutions for structural and mechanical discrepancies.Interpret CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance and resolve production issues.Liaise with internal departments (Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Programs, and Executive Teams) and external vendors.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering Ability to obtain or hold a DOD Secret Clearance.Lead root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and initiatives to reduce NCRs and streamline workflows.Develop and apply repair specifications that meet blueprint integrity and design intent.Support certification and documentation processes for engineering changes and design deviations.Train and mentor staff on lean processes and continuous improvement methodologies.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
