We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

Technical SME for MQ, and associated technologies and automation. Working with lead solution and infrastructure architects to deliver quality, scalable and performant servicesHands on admin experience on IBM MQ, WAS and PortalsLeading technical team and oversee digital Middleware products for business-critical applicationsAnalyzing, planning, and defining Middleware architecture framework, including security and governanceSupport on application deployment, troubleshooting and incidents managementProvide consultancy, support and performance tuning on Middleware productsDevelop pipelines and configure tools for automationSupport and maintain High-Availability and Disaster Recovery solutionsCollaborate with architects, developers, and project managers to deliver suitable infrastructure solution which can cope with the business needEnsure systems comply with group infrastructure policies and standardsWork closely with infrastructure domain teams to influence the practice and standard of infrastructure productsResponsible for rollout of operational toolkits and service monitoring solutions required by the role to enhance the ability to troubleshoot and ultimately prevent customer facing issuesDelivery of new and upgraded database servicesDelivery of security enhancements and fixes as required

MQ certified desirable Certification or Knowledge of Websphere related products (WAS, Liberty, Portal)Minimum 10 years’ technical experience in Middleware administration and MQ administrationProven capability in motivating people both in and outside their team, creating a team-led culture, must be open to act on any feedback given.Solid technical knowledges in Middleware products such as IBM MQ, WAS, Portal, IHS, redis, Apache, Tomcat, Node.js, Hazelcast and KongGood technical design and implementation skills with proven track record of delivering large and complex projectsHands on experience on installing/upgrading/patching the Middleware productsExperience in delivering large scale projects and working with stakeholders in different levels. Experience in Python/shell scriptingAutomation tool knowledge on Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet is preferable. Experience on AWS, Azure, GCP, Ali cloud technology is a plusGood communication and presentation skills to build effective working relationship with peer groups and usersEnd to end systems architecture knowledge. DevOps principles for efficient deliveryMentoring and supporting colleagues. Infrastructure design and architecture – collaboration with Solution Architect and Lead Developers
