What You'll Do:

Lead continuous improvement efforts, including Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and process redesign to reduce waste, improve material flow, and enhance operational efficiency. Drive labor productivity and cost optimization by analyzing performance data, developing time and motion studies, and implementing solutions that reduce variability and increase throughput. Lead the development, analysis, and implementation of direct and indirect labor standards and work methods for material handling operations across Vehicle Assembly, Powertrain, and Stamping Plants. Ensure optimized manpower utilization and efficient line balancing. Collaborate cross functionally with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to implement sustainable changes that improve total cost performance from raw material sourcing through final product delivery to the point of fit. Perform detailed cost-benefit analyses using engineering economics principles to support make-or-buy decisions, packaging design changes, and material substitutions. Build and maintain engineering cost models to analyze material acquisition, handling, and logistics expenses across different scenarios. Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to reduce waste, cycle time, and cost in logistics and material handling processes. Work cross-functionally with design engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure material and logistics considerations are integrated in product and process design.
