The Financial Analyst on the Merchandise Planning & Allocation team is responsible for supporting executional and analytical responsibilities and owning Promotional Calendar management for the Central Planning team within MP&A!

ResponsibilitiesMaintain and optimize the US Promotional Calendar, tracking and understanding business changes and how they affect each team internallyPartner with BBW Category Teams and Store Operations on in-store digit accuracyReview and analyze business trends and promotional performanceConduct hindsight analysis to inform future decisionsCollaborate among Cross Functional partners to support the Business Planning & Actions Weekly MeetingObserve and implement process opportunities and continuous improvementsSet high personal performance standards, demonstrating a sense of urgency and passion for the business, and overcoming obstacles to achieve goals

Qualifications

2-4 years analytical & forecasting experience in retail industriesStrong attention to detailAbility to meet due dates and balance multiple tasks/projectsHighly organized and proactive about setting and solving prioritiesAbility to see how a task or decision relates to the total enterpriseCapability to work with various levels of management throughout the organizationStrong in Excel and PowerPoint with desire to learn new applicationsSolid understanding of retail math, merchandising and the merchandise planning processEducationBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Retail, or Business-related field preferred
